Place Mill

01.03.19

Although there is continuing uncertainty surrounding Christchurch Council’s decision on the long term future of Place Mill, I will be back for the residency for 2019, so will be opening Easter Friday April 19th until Sunday 29th September. Being able to keep the doors open and maintaining free entry, it runs very well both as a gallery, studio and a place of historic interest, thus appealing to those with varied interests.

So many people have enjoyed my paintings, prints, table mats, coasters and unique cards and it gives added value to the local community and to those from further afield whilst Christchurch Council has the mill overseen by us on a daily basis, with the wheel previously being run whenever river conditions and tides allowed. Sadly, we have been advised that the wheel can no longer run.
