Place Mill

21.08.20

IMPORTANT NOTICE. 21/8/20

Sadly, we have heard today that Place Mill will not be re-opening this season (2020)  in accordance with the council policy on Covid-19. Hopefully, we will see you next year!

Just to confirm that although there is continuing uncertainty surrounding the Council’s decision on the long term future of Place Mill, I have the residency for 2020, and open from Easter Friday April 10th until Sunday 04th October. (Please see note above)Being able to keep the doors open and maintain free entry, it runs very well both as a gallery, studio and a place of historic interest, thus appealing to those with varied interests.

So many people have enjoyed my paintings, prints, table mats, coasters and unique cards and it gives added value to the local community and to those from further afield whilst the Council has the mill overseen by us on a daily basis, with the wheel previously being run whenever river conditions and tides allowed. Sadly, we have been advised that the wheel can no longer run under any circumstances.
